Beginning May 2026 | Online 3rd Thursday of the month | 3-5pmSeeing Otherwise - a reading group
Building just and sustainable futures requires new ways of seeing that resist extractive and imperial logics. Each month, we come together to discuss such visual propositions, guided by the following questions:
Can we learn to see in ways that withdraws from the grasping gestures of enclosure and appropriation? What ways of framing will bring into view life’s frailty and precariousness, will allow us to stand for its value and dignity, to react with outrage when it is degraded or eviscerated?*
*Thanks to Danielle Taschereau Mamers and Judith Butler for these questions
